Inspire Your Imagination.
Imagine Your Inspiration.

Our spirit is designed to inspire our mind and our mind is designed to imagine the inspiration that comes from our spirit. We can put inspiration from our spirit into our mind and we can imagine whatever our spirit wants to put into our mind. Our mind is a machine designed to be operated by a spirit. Our mind can give direction to our body. Our spirit can connect with father God and our body interfaces with the natural world we live in. Our mind provides somewhat of a bridge between the two. It can listen to our spirit and control our body. It can also work backwards and listen to our body or other outside input and quench our spirit. We can be aware of both our spirit and our mind. Like playing a piano with two hands, we can be aware of what is coming from our spirit and what is coming from our mind. We may have had our spirit tied up like a knot most of our lives while we have been living out of our mind but it's in there. Our mind is influenced by peptides; chemicals that give us feelings. Our brain creates different chemicals based on an experience or feeling that excites us. The source of this feeling can come from our spirit or our body. Different combinations of these chemicals are remembered by our brain. A moment of positive attention in our youth is enough to give us a peptide mixture that our mind will spend our entire life trying to replicate. Our mind is blind as to what caused the peptide mixture we like and will drive us to replicate it no matter how ridiculous what we are doing on the outside is. Some of us can think back on our life (depending on our age) and identify "peptide moments" that have shaped our entire life. Our life can or has become a series of peptide moments that we chase or chased after like a robot. Our imagination is the doorway that our spirit can use to take anything whatsoever and put it into our mind. Our imagination is like a scratch pad that our spirit can write anything it wants to on. If the general nature of the fallen Adam spirit embodies sin, we can expect our minds and bodies would be inspired by our spirit to sin. If our spirit is resurrected to the nature of father God, we will be inspired to do good. Our mind can act as a help or a hindrance depending on our spiritual nature and the way the mind is trained. If our spirit has a sin nature, it is possible to train the mind with law to quench the spirit so the spirit cannot express itself. If we have a life nature in our spirit, our mind should be made to follow along with the spirit so as not to interfere with what the spirit is doing. Our mind can also disconnect from our spirit and imagine things independent of our spirit. Our spirit won't change in its general nature by itself. Either we are spiritually of the first Adam that died or the last Adam, Jesus. We can be anointed with an anointing on top of our spirit. While useful, this does not mean the anointing is our actual spirit. We can be given wisdom of a spiritual nature on top of our spirit. Other spirits beside our spirit can inspire our mind. They might be father God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit or demons/unclean spirits. Like a meat grinder, our mind will mindlessly process the spiritual input from pretty much any spirit. Our mind is closer to what is called our soul. Our mind can be renewed and matured. Our mind does not get born again. Our spirit does. We should keep our mind in subjection to our raised from the dead spirit or any "family of God" spirit. Not all spiritual content has to go into the mind. Some of it can just be appreciated by our spirit, since the nature of the spirit and the mind are different. We might just want to feel "love" or "peace" in our spirit that our mind doesn't perceive in the same way as our spirit. Our mind may need to take a time out for us to be "spiritual".

A problem with the spirit we inherit from Adam is that it is sin natured. Our spiritual nature was changed from that of father God to a sin nature. When Adam sinned we became spiritually orphaned from father God. Father God put a plan into action in the garden of Eden when Adam sinned that would recover mankind spiritually, but it would not be soon in coming. In fact, it was about 4000 years until that plan came into fruition. In father God's time, about 4 days. At one point father God just about decided to scrap the whole program.

Genesis 6:5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. 7And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. 8But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

Through Noah we get a reprieve from being eliminated. Under Noah, father God developed a lineage of people that he kept close to himself to carry out his promise in the garden of Eden to recover mankind. These people became the Israel nation. Father God developed a covenant with them to establish and define a temporary relationship with them until father God could provide the resurrected human spirit. In the Tanakh or Old Testament, father God used commandments in their minds to quench the unregenerate spirit people inherited from Adam. The law acted as a filter to suppress their heart. This is "quenching the spirit". The children of Israel were trained to have the law in their mind to quench their spirit when they were inclined to do something evil or otherwise against father God. This kept them from manifesting the true nature of their unregenerate spirit. Until father God was able to send Jesus to become the raised from the dead human spirit, this law made people look the best they could given they were not spiritually resurrected.

Heart and Soul

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is alive, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Proverbs 2:10 When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul;

There is a difference between the heart that uses wisdom and the soul that uses knowledge. Father God's word teaches us to identify and separate the two so we can apply authority to each according to the way we were designed to live. Let's look at the most common Hebrew definitions of heart and soul used in the Old Testament.

Heart: לבב, lêbâb, lay-bawb', From lâbab; the heart (as the most interior organ); used also like lêb: - + bethink themselves, breast, comfortably, courage, ([faint], [tender-] heart ([-ed]), midst, mind, X unawares, understanding.

lâbab: לבב, lâbab, law-bab', A primitive root; properly to be enclosed (as if with fat); by implication (as denominative from lêbâb) to unheart, that is, (in a good sense) transport (with love), or (in a bad sense) stultify; also (as denominative from H3834) to make cakes: - make cakes, ravish, be wise.

lêb: לב, lêb, labe, A form of lêbâb; the heart; also used (figuratively) very widely for the feelings, the will and even the intellect; likewise for the centre of anything: - + care for, comfortably, consent, X considered, courag [-eous], friend [-ly], ([broken-], [hard-], [merry-], [stiff-], [stout-], double) heart ([-ed]), X heed, X I, kindly, midst, mind (-ed), X regard ([-ed)], X themselves, X unawares, understanding, X well, willingly, wisdom.

Soul: נפשׁ, nephesh, neh'-fesh, From nâphash; properly a breathing creature, that is, animal or (abstractly) vitality; used very widely in a literal, accommodated or figurative sense (bodily or mental): - any, appetite, beast, body, breath, creature, X dead (-ly), desire, X [dis-] contented, X fish, ghost, + greedy, he, heart (-y), (hath, X jeopardy of) life (X in jeopardy), lust, man, me, mind, mortality, one, own, person, pleasure, (her-, him-, my-, thy-) self, them (your) -selves, + slay, soul, + tablet, they, thing, (X she) will, X would have it.

nâphash נפשׁ, nâphash, naw-fash', A primitive root; to breathe; passively, to be breathed upon, that is, (figuratively) refreshed (as if by a current of air): - (be) refresh selves (-ed).

Here are a few of the scripture references that use both heart and soul as though they are different. These each use the definitions for heart and soul given above.

Deuteronomy 4:9 Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons' sons;

Deuteronomy 4:29 But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.

Deuteronomy 10:12 And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,

Deuteronomy 11:13 And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken diligently unto my commandments which I command you this day, to love the LORD your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul,

Deuteronomy 11:18 Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes.

Deuteronomy 13:3 Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

Deuteronomy 26:16 This day the LORD thy God hath commanded thee to do these statutes and judgments: thou shalt therefore keep and do them with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.

Deuteronomy 30:2 And shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul;

Deuteronomy 30:6 And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.

Deuteronomy 30:10 If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.

Joshua 22:5 But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of the LORD charged you, to love the LORD your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.

1 Kings 2:4 That the LORD may continue his word which he spake concerning me, saying, If thy children take heed to their way, to walk before me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul, there shall not fail thee (said he) a man on the throne of Israel.

1 Kings 8:48 And so return unto thee with all their heart, and with all their soul, in the land of their enemies, which led them away captive, and pray unto thee toward their land, which thou gavest unto their fathers, the city which thou hast chosen, and the house which I have built for thy name:

Deuteronomy 6:1 Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD your God commanded to teach you, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go to possess it: 2That thou mightest fear the LORD thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son's son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged. 3Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily, as the LORD God of thy fathers hath promised thee, in the land that floweth with milk and honey. 4Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: 5And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. 6And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: 7And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. 8And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. 9And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.

Our Focus

If we love God with all our heart, all our soul and all our might, we are refocusing all we are onto a single point. This point of focus is father God. The method of focus is love. Father God wants us to love out of our heart and our soul. Father God knows this is the best way for us to clear out everything else in our heart and our mind. He promises to bless us in our promise land when we do this. We can see here that a persons mind would be flooded from both their heart and their outside sensory input with father God's commandments constantly taught to us and written on our hand and on our house posts and gates. Father God knows how easily we can be distracted in our mind to where we compel ourself to go do something bad. The commandments are to help us use our mind to quench the bad impulses from our spirit and soul. They are guidelines. He wants us to continue to pick the best option for ourself. Father God knows our makeup because he made us. He knows how to align our mind and spirit with each other. He has taught us how to hit a "reset" button that we could use any time we wanted. The schema of the law is basically a text substitute for true relationship with father God on a spiritual level.

Numbers 15:37 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 38Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribband of blue: 39And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the LORD, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring: 40That ye may remember, and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your God. 41I am the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the LORD your God.

Father God commanded a visual reminder for the minds of the children of Israel so they would be able to influence their mind to do father God's commandments. Father God knew it would not be in their heart they inherited from Adam. If they looked in their own heart to inspire their mind they would probably sin. They had to have an outside input for their mind to focus on so they would not compel their body to do something evil.

Proverbs 16:3 Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.

Isaiah 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

Father God was able to act as an alternate mental focus point for people until he was able to create a resurrected human spirit that he could put into us. Our heart and mind have been used by father God to inspire, or prompt, us to do things all through history.

Our Willingness

Exodus 35:4 And Moses spake unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the LORD commanded, saying, 5Take ye from among you an offering unto the LORD: whosoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, an offering of the LORD; gold, and silver, and brass, ...

Exodus 35:21 And they came, every one whose heart stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing, and they brought the LORD'S offering to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all his service, and for the holy garments. 22And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing hearted, and brought bracelets, and earrings, and rings, and tablets, all jewels of gold: and every man that offered offered an offering of gold unto the LORD.

Exodus 35:26 And all the women whose heart stirred them up in wisdom spun goats' hair.

Exodus 35:29 The children of Israel brought a willing offering unto the LORD, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which the LORD had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses. 30And Moses said unto the children of Israel, See, the LORD hath called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah; 31And he hath filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship; 32And to devise curious works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, 33And in the cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of wood, to make any manner of cunning work. 34And he hath put in his heart that he may teach, both he, and Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan. 35Them hath he filled with wisdom of heart, to work all manner of work, of the engraver, and of the cunning workman, and of the embroiderer, in blue, and in purple, in scarlet, and in fine linen, and of the weaver, even of them that do any work, and of those that devise cunning work.

Exodus 36:1 Then wrought Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whom the LORD put wisdom and understanding to know how to work all manner of work for the service of the sanctuary, according to all that the LORD had commanded. 2And Moses called Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whose heart the LORD had put wisdom, even every one whose heart stirred him up to come unto the work to do it: 3And they received of Moses all the offering, which the children of Israel had brought for the work of the service of the sanctuary, to make it withal. And they brought yet unto him free offerings every morning. 4And all the wise men, that wrought all the work of the sanctuary, came every man from his work which they made; 5And they spake unto Moses, saying, The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work, which the LORD commanded to make. 6And Moses gave commandment, and they caused it to be proclaimed throughout the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman make any more work for the offering of the sanctuary. So the people were restrained from bringing. 7For the stuff they had was sufficient for all the work to make it, and too much. 8And every wise hearted man among them that wrought the work of the tabernacle made ten curtains of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: with cherubims of cunning work made he them.

When the Lord wanted to have his tabernacle made, he was able to inspire and draw upon the work of his people. It took a willing spirit on the part of the people to be stirred up. This willingness is consistent with the way spiritual authority works. We have to be willing to let father God work in and through us. Our willingness speaks to the nature of our relationship with father God. If we aren't willing, we might be considered rebellious. Father God can seek a relationship with someone else. He filled Bezaleel with wisdom, understanding and knowledge in crafts that Bezaleel may have had background in but Bezaleel got a sudden spiritual boost in his abilities without having to have experience or having to have been told by another person. Bezaleel was himself filled with wisdom, understanding and knowledge and was able to use these resources freely of his own will. Father God can do this for us too. He can inspire us to know something that we never knew before. Inspiration doesn't have to be logically derived. Inspiration doesn't have to appear logical in that it may be tied to future events or things we don't see happening elsewhere.

Like pouring water in a glass, father God can have input into our dreams and can give us visions. Let's look at one given to a king that was a major player in father God's itinerary. This was a very big dream that has characters that play through the end of the age. This dream explained the sequence of kingdoms as they would occur through time involving millions and billions of people through time. We are in some part of Nebuchadnezzars dream right now.

Daniel 2:1 And in the second year of the reign of Nebuchadnezzar Nebuchadnezzar dreamed dreams, wherewith his spirit was troubled, and his sleep brake from him. 2Then the king commanded to call the magicians, and the astrologers, and the sorcerers, and the Chaldeans, for to shew the king his dreams. So they came and stood before the king. 3And the king said unto them, I have dreamed a dream, and my spirit was troubled to know the dream. 4Then spake the Chaldeans to the king in Syriack, O king, live for ever: tell thy servants the dream, and we will shew the interpretation. 5The king answered and said to the Chaldeans, The thing is gone from me: if ye will not make known unto me the dream, with the interpretation thereof, ye shall be cut in pieces, and your houses shall be made a dunghill. 6But if ye shew the dream, and the interpretation thereof, ye shall receive of me gifts and rewards and great honour: therefore shew me the dream, and the interpretation thereof. 7They answered again and said, Let the king tell his servants the dream, and we will shew the interpretation of it. 8The king answered and said, I know of certainty that ye would gain the time, because ye see the thing is gone from me. 9But if ye will not make known unto me the dream, there is but one decree for you: for ye have prepared lying and corrupt words to speak before me, till the time be changed: therefore tell me the dream, and I shall know that ye can shew me the interpretation thereof. 10The Chaldeans answered before the king, and said, There is not a man upon the earth that can shew the king's matter: therefore there is no king, lord, nor ruler, that asked such things at any magician, or astrologer, or Chaldean. 11And it is a rare thing that the king requireth, and there is none other that can shew it before the king, except the gods, whose dwelling is not with flesh. 12For this cause the king was angry and very furious, and commanded to destroy all the wise men of Babylon. 13And the decree went forth that the wise men should be slain; and they sought Daniel and his fellows to be slain. 14Then Daniel answered with counsel and wisdom to Arioch the captain of the king's guard, which was gone forth to slay the wise men of Babylon: 15He answered and said to Arioch the king's captain, Why is the decree so hasty from the king? Then Arioch made the thing known to Daniel. 16Then Daniel went in, and desired of the king that he would give him time, and that he would shew the king the interpretation. 17Then Daniel went to his house, and made the thing known to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his companions: 18That they would desire mercies of the God of heaven concerning this secret; that Daniel and his fellows should not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon. 19Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven. 20Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: 21And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding: 22He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him. 23I thank thee, and praise thee, O thou God of my fathers, who hast given me wisdom and might, and hast made known unto me now what we desired of thee: for thou hast now made known unto us the king's matter. 24Therefore Daniel went in unto Arioch, whom the king had ordained to destroy the wise men of Babylon: he went and said thus unto him; Destroy not the wise men of Babylon: bring me in before the king, and I will shew unto the king the interpretation. 25Then Arioch brought in Daniel before the king in haste, and said thus unto him, I have found a man of the captives of Judah, that will make known unto the king the interpretation. 26The king answered and said to Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, Art thou able to make known unto me the dream which I have seen, and the interpretation thereof? 27Daniel answered in the presence of the king, and said, The secret which the king hath demanded cannot the wise men, the astrologers, the magicians, the soothsayers, shew unto the king; 28But there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets, and maketh known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. Thy dream, and the visions of thy head upon thy bed, are these; 29As for thee, O king, thy thoughts came into thy mind upon thy bed, what should come to pass hereafter: and he that revealeth secrets maketh known to thee what shall come to pass. 30But as for me, this secret is not revealed to me for any wisdom that I have more than any living, but for their sakes that shall make known the interpretation to the king, and that thou mightest know the thoughts of thy heart. 31Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a great image. This great image, whose brightness was excellent, stood before thee; and the form thereof was terrible.

And Daniel goes on to explain the dreams. The dreams were given to Nebuchadnezzar and the secret was revealed to Daniel. The secret was not revealed to Daniel because of anything Daniel had ever done or learned. It was revealed to Daniel because father God wanted to reveal it to Daniel. Father God inspired Daniel's mind with a night vision. In this case, father God was the spirit source for Daniel's mind and not Daniel's spirit.

Unregenerate Rebellion

Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

Deuteronomy 5:29 O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!

Father God really wants us to operate as he designed us. Father God wants to have relationship with us. He knows what makes us look our best. Father God knows the external covenant he made with us is not the same as the real relationship we can have with him when our spirit becomes resurrected. He knows we are not truly alive. We managed to constantly manifest ourself outside of this external covenant.

Jeremiah 5:23 But this people hath a revolting and a rebellious heart; they are revolted and gone.

Jeremiah 5:24 Neither say they in their heart, Let us now fear the LORD our God, that giveth rain, both the former and the latter, in his season: he reserveth unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest.

Jeremiah 7:24 But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward.

Jeremiah 9:14 But have walked after the imagination of their own heart, and after Baalim, which their fathers taught them:

Jeremiah 11:8 Yet they obeyed not, nor inclined their ear, but walked every one in the imagination of their evil heart: therefore I will bring upon them all the words of this covenant, which I commanded them to do; but they did them not.

Deuteronomy 11:16 Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and ye turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them;

Jeremiah 13:10 This evil people, which refuse to hear my words, which walk in the imagination of their heart, and walk after other gods, to serve them, and to worship them, shall even be as this girdle, which is good for nothing.

Jeremiah 16:12 And ye have done worse than your fathers; for, behold, ye walk every one after the imagination of his evil heart, that they may not hearken unto me:

Jeremiah 18:12 And they said, There is no hope: but we will walk after our own devices, and we will every one do the imagination of his evil heart.

It is inevitable that without the raised from the dead spirit that Jesus eventually becomes that our hearts would manifest in any number of ways. We would have vain imaginings in our heart. We would worship fake gods or demons. We would be what appeared rebellious, even though we didn't recognize it. We don't have a spirit that is directly related to father God so we don't recognize him as "father". Father God was particularly sensitive to a proud heart.

Unregenerate Pride

Psalm 101:4 A froward heart shall depart from me: I will not know a wicked person. 5Whoso privily slandereth his neighbour, him will I cut off: him that hath an high look and a proud heart will not I suffer.

Proverbs 16:1 The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD. 2All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the LORD weigheth the spirits. 4The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil. 5Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.

Proverbs 21:2 Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts. 3To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice. 4An high look, and a proud heart, and the plowing of the wicked, is sin.

2 Chronicles 32:25 But Hezekiah rendered not again according to the benefit done unto him; for his heart was lifted up: therefore there was wrath upon him, and upon Judah and Jerusalem. 26Notwithstanding Hezekiah humbled himself for the pride of his heart, both he and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the wrath of the LORD came not upon them in the days of Hezekiah.

Psalm 10:17 LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear:

If we are humble the Lord will help us to prepare, or direct, or set our heart to seek him.

2 Chronicles 12:14 And he did evil, because he prepared not his heart to seek the LORD.

2 Chronicles 15:12 And they entered into a covenant to seek the LORD God of their fathers with all their heart and with all their soul;

2 Chronicles 19:3 Nevertheless there are good things found in thee, in that thou hast taken away the groves out of the land, and hast prepared thine heart to seek God.

2 Chronicles 30:18 For a multitude of the people, even many of Ephraim, and Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves, yet did they eat the passover otherwise than it was written. But Hezekiah prayed for them, saying, The good LORD pardon every one 19That prepareth his heart to seek God, the LORD God of his fathers, though he be not cleansed according to the purification of the sanctuary.

Ezrah 7:10 For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach in Israel statutes and judgments.

God is Heart Oriented

In the Old Testament days people were constantly addressing heart issues as heart issues. Father God is spirit and our heart is spirit. Father God constantly talked to people about where their heart was. The Lord was always looking at their heart.

Jeremiah 17:10 I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.

Father God delivers back to people according to how we live out of our heart. This would be for good or for bad. If we bear good heart fruit we can reap good harvest. If we bear bad heart fruit we will reap bad harvest. Father God doesn't need us to become something flashy or intellectual. We are still just on the earth. It is more about relationship with father God. Think "live forever". Where would we really go on this planet?

1 Samuel 16:7 But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.

Psalm 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

Psalm 66:18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:

Proverbs 28:26 He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.

We could not trust our own heart but we had to walk wisely. The only way we could do this is through outside intervention. This was not an easy thing and definitely not the way we were created. Regarding iniquity is rejecting relationship as far as father God is concerned. Father God never goes away. He is always right here. Some aspect of whatever we do is about relationship with father God.

Our New Heart

Ezekiel 11:19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:

1 Corinthians 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a life giving spirit.

Notice the Ezekiel reference is in the future tense. Fortunately, father God well knew that he would have to fix our dilemma and he knew how. What was lost under Adam could be recovered by another Adam, Jesus. Jesus could become a life giving spirit to people who had an Adam spirit already in them. It was expensive, costing the life of his son Jesus, but father God committed to getting it done. Once done, Jesus would be able to return to heaven and father God could be reunited with us corporately. We still have to individually enter into the corporate person of Jesus. Then we can begin to be truly spiritually alive.

Hebrews 8:1 Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; 2A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man. 3For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer. 4For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law: 5Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount. 6But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises. 7For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. 8For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: 9Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. 10For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: 11And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. 12For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. 13In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which is becoming obsolete and aged is ready to vanish away.

The temporary covenant that was external was finally being replaced with the original covenant promised in the garden of Eden and again to Abraham to recover Adam with a resurrected spirit.

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? 5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

Jesus explained that we need to be born of father God's spirit family in order to enter into father God's kingdom.

Acts 13:30 But God raised him from the dead: 31And he was seen many days of them which came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are his witnesses unto the people. 32And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers, 33God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.

The redemptive payment was for Jesus to have to die and fall as far as Adam fell. The return trip was all deliverance. Once Jesus is raised from the dead he is a raised from the dead human spirit. He has now paid for the ability to recover Adam and everyone that has Adam's dead spirit. We must take the offer of the raised from the dead spirit in order for it to apply to us.

Romans 9:1 I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost, 2That I have great heaviness and continual sorrow in my heart. 3For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh: 4Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises; 5Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen. 6Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel: 7Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. 8That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

We don't have to be a physical genetic Israeli in order to inherit the promise given in the garden of Eden and to Abraham. Since Adam was both physical and spiritual, Jesus had to be both physical and spiritual. Father God needed a physical lineage to manifest Jesus through. The lineage that father God used to get to the time of Jesus coming to earth was physical, but the promise is spiritual. The promise is of a spiritual resurrection. We can be what father God calls a spiritual Israeli, or part of spiritual Israel. Just like Isaac was a child of promise where Ishmael was not, we can be a child that takes advantage of this promise, while others, genetically Israeli or not, don't.

Romans 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Since the promise was first made in the garden of Eden, we can understand that it was always meant to apply to Adam, which is everyone. Anyone born with Adam's spirit needs to be resurrected. Anyone born with Adam's spirit can take Jesus' raised from the dead spirit into them to become spiritually resurrected. We just need to pray to Jesus to come into our spirit and resurrect it and believe he did, whether we "feel" anything or not. We use our faith to believe we can now act like we are spiritually resurrected. Abraham took his promise of Isaac by faith. His physical body that had feelings was old and his wife's was non-functional. He had to create in his spirit the belief that father God was good for what he promised. We can do the same no matter where we are. Father God is always here.

Romans 6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: 6Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. 7For he that is dead is freed from sin. 8Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: 9Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. 10For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. 11Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. 12Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. 13Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. 14For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

The old law, or covenant is finally done away with and we enter the new covenant. We can now look into the deepest part of our heart and believe that our personal copy of Jesus is in there and we can pull from that deepest part the life that is promised to us. Where people with the fallen Adam spirit could never hope for this, we can be this. We can create this life out of our spirit all day long. This life will be father God's nature and not Adam's nature. We may be standing in our old body wearing the same clothes we were a minute ago in the same room we were in a minute ago around the same people we were around a minute ago, but in our spirit we now have the life of father God available to us like we never had available before, that we can use by faith for the rest of our life. Our "old man" is as dead as we are willing to make it. We need to convey our will to our "new man" so our "old man" won't manifest. As much as we take Jesus is how much we can crucify the "old man" and become spiritually resurrected. Our "old man" is dead if we are totally inside Jesus. Jesus provides for this. It is part of the nature of Jesus that we can rely on. It is part of the "grace" of being in Jesus. When we are challenged by our "old man" we can freely look deeper in our spirit and pull out our "new man" and shut down our "old man" on the spot. We can kill temptations with our copy of Jesus' spirit because that capability is built into Jesus' spirit. This would be similar to making things out of brass and gold that we never knew we could make. The capability is in there. We have to invoke our faith in the capability of Jesus' spirit and poof, we win! That is part of the gift that father God wants us to use constantly to keep us from sinning and to have dominion over our personal promise land.

Hebrews 10:15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, 16This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; 17And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. 18Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin. 19Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, 20By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; 21And having an high priest over the house of God; 22Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. 23Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Fortunately for us in this age this change of covenants has been completed. We don't need to rely on an outside covenant to be able to both be and do good straight out of our heart. We can become adopted into the spiritual family of father God. We can have his spirit right inside of us as our most deep spirit that is us. This is different from "with us" or "also in us along with us". This new spirit becomes the real spiritual us. We can take Jesus into our Adam spirit and he will raise it from the dead with his raised from the dead human spirit, his life giving spirit. The text version of the old testament becomes the real thing in us in the new testament. This changes completely how we can relate to father God. We become the exact same spiritual person that Jesus is. We actually become a part of Jesus' spiritual body. Just like Adam was a son of father God, we become a son or daughter of father God in Jesus. As much as Jesus is sitting at the right hand of father God, so are we sitting at the right hand of father God in Jesus. The resurrected spiritual nature is part of our heart, but what was in our mind before has to be overwritten with new spiritual content, or inspiration. Our mind will learn from our spirit a new nature and a new way to behave. Our mind is a machine and can handle any input as long as it is obedient to take it in. Sometimes our mind has a mind of its own. Let's see how we can now use our raised from the dead spirit to inspire our mind and overwrite what is in there from our old life. We will also see the next layer out from our mind is our flesh. This too needs to be brought under control. So, with our spirit we renew our mind and with our mind we control our flesh.

Let's look at the most common Greek definitions of heart and mind used in the New Testament.

Heart: καρδία, kardia, kar-dee'-ah - Prolonged from a primary κάρ kar (Latin cor, “heart”); the heart, that is, (figuratively) the thoughts or feelings (mind); also (by analogy) the middle: - (+ broken-) heart (-ed).

Mind: νοῦς, nous, nooce; Probably from the base of ginōskō; the intellect, that is, mind (divine or human; in thought, feeling, or will); by implication meaning: - mind, understanding.

ginōskō: γινώσκω, ginōskō, ghin-oce'-ko; A prolonged form of a primary verb; to “know” (absolutely), in a great variety of applications and with many implications: - allow, be aware (of), feel, (have) known (-ledge), perceive, be resolved, can speak, be sure, understand.

Mind: Mind: , διάνοια, dianoia, dee-an'-oy-ah; From dia and nous; deep thought, properly the faculty (mind or its disposition), by implication its exercise: - imagination, mind, understanding.

dia: διά, dia, dee-ah' - A primary preposition denoting the channel of an act; through (in very wide applications, local, causal or occasional). In composition it retains the same general import: - after, always, among, at, to avoid, because of (that), briefly, by, for (cause) . . . fore, from, in, by occasion of, of, by reason of, for sake, that, thereby, therefore, X though, through (-out), to, wherefore, with (-in). In composition it retains the same general import.

Inspiration

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

2 Peter 1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

The bible was inspired. The people who wrote it were the writers but father God was the author. The individual writers may or may not have known how accurately father God was influencing their work. Once we have the raised from the dead spirit we can use father God's word to retrain our mind. Our mind may be filtering our spirit because of something the mind learned in our old life. Good doctrine will renew the mind to cooperate with our new spirit. Bad doctrine will cause our mind to filter our spirit even more. We must stick with father God's word. When our spirit tries to express itself with an inspiration that is relevant to our exact situation in terms of time and facts, our mind then thinks it is it's job to filter out things that aren't relevant and to add in things that it deems are relevant. Sigmund Freud called the methodology of our mind "tension/ tension reduction". When our mind receives tension it tries to reduce the tension. Our mind tries to come to the conclusion. The input our mind works on can be from our outside surroundings or from our spirit. Our mind is constantly sensing our spirit attempting to give it input. The knot we might be feeling in our solar plexus might be our mind quenching our spirit. Our mind might be doing its job of tension reduction too well. Our mind might be keeping our spirit locked up. Our mind might be shutting off any spiritual input. Our mind always wants to be in control. This is "walking after the flesh". Our mind must be put into subjection to our spirit. Our spirit has to be able to feed input into our mind. If we want to use more than 10% of our brain we have to be inspired. An inspiration from father God can light up our brain real quick. We may have to wait for the whole inspiration to get in there. We can not necessarily assume the first amount of input is all there is and start taking action on just that. We may have to let our brain fill up to 20%, which is double what we might normally use, but still one fifth of 100%. We cannot subtract from, add to, or change any part of our inspiration or it will be damaged. We can be exposed to opportunities by father God that would otherwise never present themselves if we tried to set them up. We can't see in terms of time and all relevant facts involving people we don't know such that we could coordinate a certain outcome. Our mind does not have any access to information regarding what will happen tomorrow or how something someone else is doing will influence us tomorrow or how something we do will influence someone else. An inspiration altered by our mind won't work like it would have if we had just followed it. We sometimes have to follow that rabbit trail. Father God may be giving us a rabbit trail to keep us walking by faith. He has access to the whole planet. He may be coordinating things for us from many countries all at one time. Relying on father God to be made unto us this knowledge and wisdom through Jesus gives us an advantage that we cannot have in the natural. Part of the kingdom aspect of father God can be that a vast amount of opportunities open up to us right in front of us that would never be there if we were just in the natural.

1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 11For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. 12Now we have received (lambano - taken), not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 13Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Without considering the natural aspect of being inspired, there are spiritual principles and there is spiritual wisdom that we can be sharing with other members of Jesus' body that we would never appreciate if we were not inspired. They can only be perceived by a spirit from father God's family and not by a fallen Adam spirit. Father God wants to freely give us things. We have to be able to use our raised from the dead spirit to communicate with father God at his level.

1 Thessalonians 5:19 Quench not the Spirit.

If we quench any "family of God" spirit, like father God, Jesus as the head, the Holy Spirit, or our own spirit, we won't be learning about spiritual things of God. We won't be able to walk in father God's Kingdom. We take that spirit of father God into ourself for eternal life and to be part of father God's family. We then have to use our spirit in order for it to be of value to us. Our mind becomes a coprocessor that could never duplicate the ability of our spirit that comes from father God and the connection we get with father God. Our spirit can perceive inspiration as wisdom whereas our mind interprets inspiration from our spirit as knowledge.

Romans 11:33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! 34For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor? 35Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again? 36For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.

1 Corinthians 2:16 For who hath known the mind (nous) of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind (nous) of Christ.

Colossians 2:2 That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; 3In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. 4And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words. 5For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ. 6As ye have therefore received (taken near) Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: 7Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. 8Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

Colossians 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: 17Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ. 18Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind (nous), 19And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God. 20Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances, 21(Touch not; taste not; handle not; 22Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?

All of the wisdom and knowledge of father God that pertains to this creation dwells in Jesus. Since everything was made by father God through Jesus, any wisdom and knowledge that has any manifestation is manifested through Jesus. Jesus has all access to all wisdom and knowledge that father God used in making this creation. In Jesus we have the mind of Jesus. We have access to anything father God is willing to share with us. Men may have philosophy, tradition and enticing words coming from a fleshly mind, but these are filters to our spirit that prevent wisdom and knowledge from coming out of our spirit and into our mind for us to use. Bad doctrine filters our spirit. When we understand Jesus has been made the head over everything, we understand that in Jesus we have complete access to everything. If we do not recognize Jesus as the head of his body and ourselves a part of the body we will not be nourished and increased through Jesus by father God. We can be comforted that we don't need to compete with each other and fight with each other. We can relax and work together. We can love each other. Father God intentionally sets his family up to work this way. We can thank father God for everything that is being given to us. All of this is available to us by us walking in our steadfast faith in Jesus being made unto us a raised from the dead spirit.

Luke 24:45 Then opened he their understanding (nous), that they might understand the scriptures,

Ephesians 1:15 Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, 16Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention (remembering) of you in my prayers; 17That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 18The eyes of your understanding (dianoia) being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, 19And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, 20Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, 21Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: 22And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, 23Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

We can pray for our understanding to be opened with the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Jesus. We can know as part of Jesus' body what power our faith in Jesus is made unto us by father God. Father God's power is applied to us in Jesus, not only to raise us from the dead now, but to have dominion over everything now and in the next age when we are in our spiritual body. We can be thankful for our faith in Jesus and our love for all the other saints. We can be thankful for other people's faith in Jesus and their love for us and the other saints. We can be thankful for our understanding being opened. We can be thankful for father God's spirit of wisdom. We can be thankful to father God for all these things working here on the earth for us. This is father God's program. This is his intent and desire for us.

Acts 17:11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind (nous), that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

With our spirit raised from the dead, we have to take father God's word into our mind to renew our mind. If our spirit is locked inside of us because we won't renew our mind, we won't be transformed. Our mind has to be ready to be renewed in every part of it or we will block some part of what is in our spirit. Our mind doesn't have to know everything. The knowledge can come out of our spirit and from father God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Our mind can instantaneously and perpetually receive new knowledge from our spirit without having to know anything in advance. It is more important that our mind be able to imagine whatever our spirit is trying to put into it than for our mind to be intellectual or heavily trained. Our mind can appear "brilliant" or "genius" if it can absorb brilliant or genius inspiration from our spirit. We know that father God and Jesus can be made unto us brilliance and genius. We have to remember that it is all given to us and that the brilliance and genius comes from father God. It is a gift to us for us to freely use. If we perceive knowledge as a gift to us it will change our perspective as to how and why we strive and compete.

Colossians 1:9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; 10That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; 12Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet (qualify) to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: 13Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 14In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: 15Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 16For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. 18And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. 19For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; 20And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. 21And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled 22In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: 23If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

Father God wants us to increase in our knowledge of him. He isn't trying to hide himself from his family. He is trying to reveal himself to his family. If we are inheriting Jesus' kingdom that father God made for Jesus, father God wants us to be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. The more knowledge of who we are spiritually, the more we can walk in this knowledge and manifest ourselves according to this knowledge. We can learn we have the help of father God's miraculous power to cheerfully manifest all endurance and longsuffering in our walk. If we are alienated from father God and in our mind enemies of father God then he will keep us at a distance. He will hide himself from people who don't want to be part of his loving family. If we want to be reconciled with father God and recognize him as "Father" then we can take what Jesus paid for and have peace with father God. Through Jesus, father God can make us qualify to be his child and partake of his inheritance. Through Jesus we can become holy, faultless and blameless and be presentable to father God like we are perfect children. We can become as dear to father God as Jesus is.

Conquering With Our New Spirit

Ephesians 2:1 Also you--being dead in the trespasses and the sins, 2in which once ye did walk according to the course of this world, according to the ruler of the authority of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience (apeitheia - obstinate and rebellious disbelief), 3among whom also we all did walk once in the desires of our flesh, doing the wishes of the flesh and of the thoughts (dianoia), and were by nature children of wrath--as also the others, 4and God, being rich in kindness, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5even being dead in the trespasses, did make us to live together with the Christ, (by grace ye are having been saved,) 6and did raise us up together, and did seat us together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7that He might show, in the ages that are coming, the exceeding riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus, 8for by grace ye are having been saved, through faith, and this not of you--of God the gift, 9not of works, that no one may boast; 10for of Him we are workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to good works, which God did before prepare, that in them we may walk.

Let's look at the word "wrath" in verse 3.

Wrath: ὀργή, orgē, or-gay' - From oregomai; properly desire (as a reaching forth or excitement of the mind), that is, (by analogy) violent passion (ire, or [justifiable] abhorrence); by implication punishment: - anger, indignation, vengeance, wrath.

Remember our peptides? When we were born with Adam's sin natured spirit, father God considered us spiritually dead. We were children without father God as our spiritual father. Our nature was that of violent passions and desires manifesting because of the sin nature of our flesh and mind. We did not "feel the love" of father God flowing through us out of our spirit. What flowed out of us was influenced by a spirit that Adam subjected himself to when he sinned in the garden of Eden. Adam did not maintain his authority that he was given by father God. Adam could have, and should have, stood up to the sin he was confronted with using the authority father God gave him. Instead, Adam's "work" or act or deed was to sin. Father God is giving us a second chance at life. In Jesus we can be seated in heaven, right next to father God. We are given this opportunity by father God because he chose to be kind to us. He is being kind to us through Jesus because he loves us. It is not because of how we look under Adam. It is because father God knows what he can make us into. Because of the finished work that Jesus did by becoming a raised from the dead human, father God can recreate us into his own product. We can be made raised from the dead by applying the raised from the dead spirit to ourself. This can only be given to us and is not something we can earn in any way. It is very, very strictly by grace only. Everyone comes into father God's family at the same level and in the same way. At the same time, because of spiritual authority and free will, we must dynamically take the gift. This is by our faith. If we don't take the gift, we don't get the gift. We have to apply the gift to ourselves. After we are in father God's family, we can enjoy our life doing good works that reflect our new Godlike nature.

Ephesians 4:17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind (nous), 18Having the understanding (dianoia) darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness (callousness, hardness) of their heart (kardia): 19Who being past feeling (becoming apathetic) have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. 20But ye have not so learned Christ; 21If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: 22That ye put off concerning the former conversation (behavior) the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; 23And be renewed in the spirit of your mind (nous); 24And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

People with a hard heart are ignorant of the spiritual life of father God. Also, their mind is not inspired by a living spirit inside of them that reflects the nature of the family of father God. Lacking a spiritually positive source of inspiration, their mind is vain and it thinks to do unclean things. When we learn how to have a resurrected heart, or spirit, in Jesus, we can destroy the schema that we developed before we became spiritually alive. Our "old man" must die. We can become a whole new person in our mind. Our mind will not be used the same way it was before. Our mind will no longer be in charge. By our own free will our first impression of something won't reflect the nature of our mind. We will not operate under the "tension/tension reduction" approach. We will choose to first see things from the "love, joy, peace" approach. Everyone that becomes spiritually resurrected will show a similar nature in their mind that reflects their heart nature if they are maturing in Jesus. We will learn what is true about the life of father God and how to walk in it.

Romans 7:21 I find, then, the law, that when I desire to do what is right, with me the evil is present, 22for I delight in the law of God according to the inward man, 23and I behold another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind (nous), and bringing me into captivity to the law of the sin that is in my members. 24A wretched man I am! who shall deliver me out of the body of this death? 25I thank God--through Jesus Christ our Lord; so then, I myself indeed with the mind (nous) do serve the law of God, and with the flesh, the law of sin.

We will see our flesh want to fight with father God's adoption program. Our "old man" will feel offended by the intrusion and input from our spirit. Just like our flesh will not want to contribute to our spirit, our spirit will not contribute to the goals of our flesh. We may be stuck for years with no forward progress if we don't clearly choose one over the other. We don't want to pick walking in the flesh. Once we have our spirit raised from the dead and we use it to renew our mind, the next and last layer of ourself is our flesh. Until we have our spiritual body that will not fight with our spirit person, we will need to use our spirit person to rule our flesh body.

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. 3For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 5For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also enliven your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. 12Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. 13For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. 14For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15For ye have not received (lambano - taken) the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received (lambano - taken) the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

If we have taken into our Adam spirit the life giving spirit that Jesus made himself into, then we have a spirit of a child of father God as much as Jesus is a child of father God. If we do not have this spirit of Jesus in us, we are not a child of father God. We do not have any access to any life past our physical existence. At the end of our physical life we die and are thrown away in hell. The Spirit of life in Jesus gives us the ability to kill the practices of the body. We have to take it upon ourself to use the spirit of Jesus that father God is offering us to renew our carnal mind to become spiritually minded. We have to convey our will to our spirit so much that our mind isn't allowed an opinion. If we do not renew our carnal mind to be spiritually minded, we will not kill the deeds of the body and we will die. We have to renew our mind enough to be able to walk after the spirit. We have to be able to be led by the spirit of God. Our spirit has to be in charge at any given time so we will do what is coming from our spirit rather than what our old person wants to or what our flesh wants to. Our mind on its own will live our whole life as if it is in charge. It will develop a schema of a person that is not a spiritual person. Our mind will develop patterns and habits that it will follow all our life. We will learn something somewhere and repeat it our whole life. We will wear our hair a certain way or dress a certain way. We will like living in a certain place or atmosphere. Our mind will create a self image that it believes should be who we are. We develop our reputation. We will be proud about certain things and have strong feelings about certain issues. We may have particular friends or family that we value. All of this schema is our old man. We have to take our entire old person that we were in our mind and erase it. If our spirit is what we will be using to renew our mind, then part of the nature of the renewed mind is to listen to and obey our spiriit. Our mind may be renewed on a certain subject with doctrine and our mind may be renewed instantaneously or daily as our spirit gets a new inspiration from father God or Jesus. If we teach our mind to believe a certain way regarding spiritual things but we don't teach our mind to dynamically follow our spirit we have only created a doctrine and our mind has gone back to developing a schema. True, it will be a better schema than our old mind had, but it still is possible that we will let the mind decide what to do instantaneously when our spirit should have done the deciding. If our mind goes back to making "logical" decisions for us based on doctrine, we are not walking after the spirit. We have gone back to walking after the flesh, in that our flesh is in charge of what we do and when. This is not being a spiritual person. Nothing about being mentally knowledgeable about doctrine will pass us as a spiritual person. When we go further with this approach we get to where our mind is only following our spirit instantaneously. We have to be able to interrupt our mind mid-thought and kill the rest of the thought without letting it walk through our mind. We have to be able to stop our thought immediately and look into our spirit to see what is coming from there and be able to immediately replace whatever was in our mind with what is coming from our spirit. Rather, we need to be desiring to project our spirit outward through our mind and expect no resistance from our mind. If we project, project, project constantly out of our spirit we can develop a "flow" out of our spirit to where our spirit is the real person and not our mind. Like a slide projector, we have to be able to change slides instantaneously at will with no feedback from our mind. Just display the next inspiration. When we can do this fluently, our mind becomes like a glove and our spirit like our hand. We don't want any feedback from a glove to interfere with what our hand is doing. The more room we give to our spirit man the more spiritual we become. Our spirit man can stretch out and flex its muscles and manifest its fullness. Eventually the mind person doesn't even exist. We can transition from looking at our spirit from our mind to looking at our mind from our spirit. Our mind becomes a machine operated by our spirit. We become "instant, in season and out of season". We become "content wherein whatever state we are in". Everything on our outside is on the table and subject to being changed at any time. We can envision that our spirit man has a part of itself that will process through a corresponding part of our mind. Any part of our mind that continues to have its own opinion will hinder that part of our spiritual nature. Like our glove, any finger of a glove that is blocked or twisted or turned inside out won't let our real finger inside. The more our spirit man is in control, the more we can channel for father God and Jesus and the bigger our life becomes. Our source for life is now coming from father God and involves considerations regarding time and distance and numbers and accuracy that our mind could never achieve on its own. When we express ourself from our resurrected spirit outwards we are being truly alive the way father God intended us to be. Until our mind has been properly trained, sometimes when it gets a great inspiration our mind tries to take credit for the idea. Our mind doesn't feel that the whole inspiration was handed to it by our spirit. All it knows is that it just had a great idea and now it is pretty proud of it. Big mistake. Taking credit for father God's inspiration sends us back to basic training or a beat down until we recognize where inspiration comes from. Back into the wilderness for us. We are not ready yet to walk humbly in father God's provision. We can be given incredibly brilliant inspirations all day long. They might be worth writing a book about it or making a movie about it, but if we give credit to our mind for it we can expect a beating. Our mind wasn't in subjection. Our spirit-soul-body authority structure is out of alignment. Our mind tried to express authority it did not really have.

1 Peter 4:1 Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; 2That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.

Father God wills that we be successful in becoming his mature child. He invites us to arm ourselves with a weapon like mind-set that if our flesh is the part of our whole person that is suffering, our spirit is not suffering and we are becoming spiritually whole people that can completely cease from sinning.

Acts 20:19 Serving the Lord with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews:

Philippians 2:1 If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, 2Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. 3Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. 4Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. 5Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Romans 12:16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits (selves).

1 Peter 3:8 Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: 9Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.

When we understand our inspiration comes from our spirit and our mind is a nice obedient coprocessor, we know better than to be high minded and prideful out of our mind. The closer we get to father God the more we see him working in us and the more we see he can also work in others just as well. Our life is no longer about winning or beating the other guy. Putting our mind on a pedestal is vainglory compared to what is available to us in our spirit from father God through Jesus. Father God is in the middle and is not sowing discord or strife in his family. We can be as lowly in our mind as possible and not miss anything. Inspiration comes from our spirit and not from our mind. We are not robbing father God or anyone else if we are getting inspired by father God. We can relax and be like minded and have the same love for each other. Instead of feeling wise in ourselves we can be compassionate towards others. We can help others without a fear that it will come back on ourselves. Of course, be inspired as to when and for whom to do that. We can spend time on other peoples needs and father God will bless us. Of course, be inspired as to when and for whom to do that. If we take it upon ourselves to decide who we help and how much, we may interfere with many things that father God is doing. For example, we may interfere with the other person getting needed experience and having "ownership" of the inspiration given to them. We don't want to do the "look what I can do" thing. Don't get in the middle. Let father God and Jesus stay in the middle.

Deuteronomy 15:7 If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine hand from thy poor brother: 8But thou shalt open thine hand wide unto him, and shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he wanteth. 9Beware that there be not a thought in thy wicked heart, saying, The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand; and thine eye be evil against thy poor brother, and thou givest him nought; and he cry unto the LORD against thee, and it be sin unto thee. 10Thou shalt surely give him, and thine heart shall not be grieved when thou givest unto him: because that for this thing the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all thy works, and in all that thou puttest thine hand unto. 11For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land.

In Hebrew culture a person with an evil eye is someone who is stingy. A person with a good eye is someone who is generous. If we freely give to others as the Lord commands, the Lord becomes responsible for what happens to us and what it costs us. If the Lord is behind what we are doing, he is saying he will bless us for doing it. Overall, we won't lose for doing it. On the other side of that, we can cast our pearls before swine or whore out our resources and the Lord won't bless us for it. The Hebrew children had taken what the Lord had given them and made covenants with other people and scattered it away. They acted like it was given to them for free and they could be the endless source to others with their resources, putting themselves on a stage rather than the Lord. The Lord had given it to exactly who he wanted to have it. He was using the Hebrew children as an example of what the Lord could be worth to others if they also followed the Lord, but these others got it through the back door and never learned their lesson. The Lord was offended and called the Hebrew children an astonishment. He will criticize us and we will get reset back a notch or three until we learn how to follow the Lord better.

1 Corinthians 1:10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind (nous) and in the same judgment.

2 Thessalonians 2:2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind (nous), or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

Romans 14:5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind (nous).

2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

1 Peter 1:13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind (dianoia), be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

In our individual walks we can have different starting points and we might have matured different amounts. We might be inspired with different inspirations from father God. Eventually we will have a commonality to where we are not so different in our mind. Our calling might be different. Our blessings might be different. Our mind set can be the same. We all know who father God is and we can share with each other from that perspective. We are all trying to get to the same point of inheriting father God's kingdom through the grace we are being given through Jesus.

1 Corinthians 14:14 For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding (nous) is unfruitful. 15What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding (nous) also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding (nous) also.

1 Corinthians 14:19 Yet in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding (nous), that by my voice I might teach others also, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue.

By ourselves we can pray straight out of our spirit and we can pray with our mind. Father God understands both equally well. For our benefit we can do both to keep both parts of ourself coordinated. In front of others we can just stick with what language is common to everyone for the common good.

Failing

1 Timothy 6:5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds (nous), and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

2 Timothy 3:8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds (nous), reprobate concerning the faith.

Romans 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind (nous), to do those things which are not convenient;

Titus 1:15 Unto the pure (clean) all things are pure (clean): but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure (clean); but even their mind (nous) and conscience is defiled. 16They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

Let's look at the word "reprobate".

Reprobate: ἀδόκιμος, adokimos, ad-ok'-ee-mos - From "a" (as a negative particle) and dokimos (acceptable, approved, tried); unapproved, that is, rejected; by implication worthless (literally or morally): - castaway, rejected, reprobate.

Our minds can be corrupt. We can choose to make or let our minds be corrupt. If we don't want to be a part of father God's family, he will "honor" that right up to the part where we get thrown into hell. We can be a castaway, rejected by father God if we don't want to clean ourself using what father God offers us to clean ourself with.

Making It To Eternal Life

Philippians 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. 15Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. 16Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing. 17Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample. 18(For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: 19Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.) 20For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: 21Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

Everything we do now is by faith. We aren't there until we are there. When we have our new spiritual body we are there. Even then, we can be like other sons of father God that left their place and sinned. We are in the middle of a lot of turmoil. Father God has sown seed on the earth and wants to end up with children out of it. We should all have the goal of making the mark. We can help each other and love each other along the way. We won't lose our space because father God just makes more room for all newcomers. We should avoid other people who don't want to be like minded. They are headed for death and may kill us. Really, really maturing in Jesus even in this age could take multiple lifetimes. We can get pointed in the right direction, though and save ourselves a lot of time and wasted effort. We don't want to live in our old man. We want to be constantly renewing our mind so our new raised from the dead spirit can manifest itself through our mind constantly so we can be living the life of father God constantly.

Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding (nous), shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Sample Prayer

Jesus, I was supposed to be born a child of father God. Through no fault of my own I was born with a death corrupted human spirit. You loved me enough to come from heaven to put on human flesh like mine and die without sin to become a legally resurrected human spirit so you could offer to share your "Resurrected Child of God" spirit with me. Your spirit will resurrect me and bring me into the same father/child relationship with father God that you have. You are the Lord over the corporate spiritual person you are creating. I take your offer to spiritually raise me from the dead and bring me into your corporate spiritual person. Please forgive me for being born a sinner and having sin. I understand that all sin in my past will be forgotten as of right now. I understand that any sin I commit from now on I will be responsible for. I release everyone of any wrongdoing against me like I want to be released right now. Jesus, I open up my spiritual heart to you now. Please come into my heart and spiritually raise me from the dead. Please begin washing me with a washing of re-birthing regeneration. Thank you, Jesus. Hello brother Jesus and hello daddy God.

Jesus, you also promised me I could have the Holy Spirit to dwell in me and be a comforter to me and teach me about all the truth. Holy Spirit, please come into me now and live with me and guide me into all the truth. Show me who I spiritually am now in Jesus. Teach me to use my new "Jesus" spirit to not sin. Teach me how to erase my previous identity and mature as a child of father God. Teach me to trust and believe father God as "daddy". Thank you, Holy Spirit.
